BNP TV

September 30, 2008

Within a few years from now, the Internet will be THE method of delivery of the technical quality of material we see on the TV today. “Convergence”, as the term is called, is already with us; as millions around the planet use their PCs to learn about the news, watch video clips and listen to music.

While the BNP doesn’t (yet!) have the multi-million pound budgets of Carlton, Fox News, C4 and the BBC, our growing number of teams of amateur cameramen/women and film editors are now able to deliver their footage to the rapidly increasingly numbers of visitors to our site.

This concept could, in a short space of time, offer a genuine alternative to the outpourings from the anti-white racists and politically correct Marxists who control “mainstream” TV today.

Mission Statement

September 30, 2008

The British National Party exists to secure a future for the indigenous peoples of these islands in the North Atlantic which have been our homeland for millennia.

We use the term indigenous to describe the people whose ancestors were the earliest settlers here after the last great Ice Age and who have been complemented by the historic migrations from mainland Europe.

The migrations of the Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Danes, Norse and closely related kindred peoples have been, over the past few thousand years, instrumental in defining the character of our family of nations.

While we recognise the United Kingdom as a political entity, the BNP does not arrogantly seek to impose one set of Westminster dominated decisions across these nations. We embrace and cherish the native cultural diversity within the British Isles and wish to extend the concept of democracy to the lowest possible level, where those that are affected by a decision are the ones who influence and make the decision.

Political battle

The struggle to secure our future is being waged on many fronts. The need for political power is crucial to bring about our goals. Without effective political representation the majority of Britons, who are deeply concerned about the future, have no voice in the chambers where decisions are made. Increasingly numbers of voters are expressing apathy and discontent with the endless incompetence, lies, false promises and sleaze coming from the three parties that make up the Old Gang. The BNP will contest and win elections at council, parliamentary, Assembly or European level in order to achieve political power to bring about the changes needed.

Torch bearers of culture

The rich legacy of tradition, legend, myth and very real wealth of landscape and man-made structures are our island’s richest treasures. The men and women of the British National Party are motivated by love and admiration of the outpouring of culture, art, literature and the pattern of living through the ages that has left its mark on our very landscape. We value the folkways and customs which have been passed down through countless generations. We enthuse with pride at the marvels of architecture and engineering that have been completed on these islands since the construction of the great megaliths 7,000 years ago.

Liberties

Above and beyond our activities in the political world, we daily work with our people in their homes and communities addressing the fundamental issues of civil liberties and reverse discrimination. Increasingly our people are facing denial of service provision, failure to secure business contracts as well as poor job prospects as reverse discrimination excludes our people from the school room, workplace and boardroom. A key role of the British National Party is to provide legal advice and support to victims of repression and those denied their fundamental civil rights.

Policies & Manifesto

British National Party Policies.

Download our 2007 Mini Manifesto here.

IMMIGRATION — time to say ENOUGH!

On current demographic trends, we, the native British people, will be an ethnic minority in our own country within sixty years.

To ensure that this does not happen, and that the British people retain their homeland and identity, we call for an immediate halt to all further immigration, the immediate deportation of criminal and illegal immigrants, and the introduction of a system of voluntary resettlement whereby those immigrants who are legally here will be afforded the opportunity to return to their lands of ethnic origin assisted by generous financial incentives both for individuals and for the countries in question.

We will abolish the ‘positive discrimination’ schemes that have made white Britons second-class citizens. We will also clamp down on the flood of ‘asylum seekers’, all of whom are either bogus or can find refuge much nearer their home countries.

EUROPE — back to British independence!

We are opposed to the Single European Currency, and support the overwhelming majority of the British people in their desire to keep the Pound and our traditional weights and measures. At the same time, we are for the best possible relationship with our European neighbours and believe that the nations of Europe should be free to trade and cooperate whenever it is mutually beneficial, though without being forced into a political and economic straitjacket — political unification. Accordingly, we stand for British withdrawal from the European Union. In place of the EU, we intend to aim towards greater national self-sufficiency, and to work to restore Britain’s family and trading ties with Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and to trade with the rest of the world as it suits us. Following our withdrawal from the EU, the BNP will use the £43 million per day net contribution Britain at present makes to the European Union to fund many far more useful projects at home.

LAW AND ORDER — crack down on crime!

The BNP will crack down on crime and restore public safety and confidence. We will free the police and courts from the politically correct straitjacket that is stopping them from doing their job properly. The liberal fixation with the ‘rights’ of criminals must be replaced by concern for the rights of victims, and the right of innocent people not to become victims. We support the re-introduction of corporal punishment for petty criminals and vandals, and the restoration of capital punishment for paedophiles, terrorists and murderers as an option for judges in cases where their guilt is proven beyond dispute, as by DNA evidence or being caught red-handed.

ECONOMY — British workers first!

Globalisation, with its export of jobs to the Third World, is bringing ruin and unemployment to British industries and the communities that depend on them. Accordingly, the BNP calls for the selective exclusion of foreign-made goods from British markets and the reduction of foreign imports. We will ensure that our manufactured goods are, wherever possible, produced in British factories, employing British workers. When this is done, unemployment in this country will be brought to an end, and secure, well-paid employment will flourish, at last getting our people back to work and ending the waste and injustice of having more than 4 million people in a hidden army of the unemployed concealed by Labour’s statistical fiddles. We further believe that British industry, commerce, land and other economic and natural assets belong in the final analysis to the British nation and people. To that end we will restore our economy and land to British ownership. We also call for preference in the job market to be given to native Britons. We will take active steps to break up the socially, economically and politically damaging monopolies now being established by the supermarket giants. Finally we will seek to give British workers a stake in the success and prosperity of the enterprises whose profits their labour creates by encouraging worker shareholder and co-operative schemes

EDUCATION — discipline, standards, achievement!

We are against the ‘trendy’ teaching methods that have made Britain one of the most poorly educated nations in Europe. We will end the practice of politically correct indoctrination in all its guises and we will restore discipline in the classroom, give authority back to teachers and put far greater emphasis on training young people in the industrial and technological skills necessary in the modern world. We will also seek to instill in our young people knowledge of and pride in the history, cultures and heritage of the native peoples of Britain.

AGRICULTURE — quality before quantity!

We see a strong, healthy agriculture sector as vital to the country. Britain’s farming industry will be encouraged to produce a much greater part of the nation’s need in food products. Priority will be switched from quantity to quality, as we move from competing in a global economy to maximum self-sufficiency for Britain. We will ensure a major shift to healthier and more sustainable organic farming. We are pledged to ensure the restoration of Britain’s once great fishing industry with the reimposition of the former exclusion zones around our coast.

HEALTH — first-class healthcare for all!

We are wholly committed to a free, fully funded National Health Service for all British citizens. We will revitalise the Health Service by boosting staff and bed numbers, slashing unnecessary bureaucracy and by addressing the root cause of low recruitment and retention — low pay. We will see to it that no money is given in foreign aid while our own hospitals are short of beds and the staff to run them. More emphasis must be placed on healthy living with greater understanding of sickness prevention through physical exercise, a healthier environment and improved diets.

TRANSPORT — time to invest!

Increased investment is needed in Britain’s public transport system to bring it up to the highest standards in the world. The fiasco of rail privatisation with different companies running services and track leading to higher fares and lower safety also needs to be resolved. Congestion of our towns and cities must be eased by the provision of greater incentives to use rail and bus transport instead of private cars. The first step is to end the crime and squalor that puts so many people off public transport. Motorists must not be made the scapegoats for government failure. Fuel tax should be cut, motorway speed limits raised, and hidden speed cameras should be banned. Far more must be done to encourage the development and use of cleaner fuels.

ENVIRONMENT — a cleaner, greener future!

Our ideal for Britain is that of a clean, beautiful country, free of pollution in all its forms. We will enforce standards to curb those practices, whether by business or the individual, which cause environmental damage. “The polluter pays to clean up the mess” must become a fact of life, not an electioneering slogan. In towns we would work to replace the brutalist modernism of 1960s-style-architecture with a blend of traditional local styles and materials and ensure that developments take place on a more human scale.

FOREIGN AID — time to spend our money on our own people!

We reject the idea that Britain must forever be obliged to subsidise the incompetence and corruption of Third World states by supplying them with financial aid. We will link foreign aid with our voluntary resettlement policy, whereby those nations taking significant numbers of people back to their homelands will need cash to help absorb those returning. The billions of pounds saved every year by this policy will also be reallocated to vital services in Britain.

PENSIONERS — pensioners before asylum seekers!

The conditions in which many of Britain’s old people are forced to live are a national disgrace. We are pledged to ensure that all our old folk are able to live in comfortable homes, and will restore the earnings link with pensions. Elderly people who have paid a lifetime of taxes and reared families should not have to sell their homes to pay for care.

NORTHERN IRELAND — an end to sectarianism!

Britain has shamefully allowed the terrorists in Northern Ireland to come close to winning when the IRA could have been destroyed years ago. Government weakness has led to hundreds of deaths and given those same terrorists a share in government. We would end all attempts to force the people of Northern Ireland to accept foreign interference in their affairs and deal with terrorism — from whatever side — once and for all. No one with links to a terrorist organisation that refuses to lay down its arms should be allowed to enter government. We would abolish state-supported segregation in education. In the long run, we wish to end the conflict in Ireland by welcoming Eire as well as Ulster as equal partners in a federation of the nations of the British Isles.

DEFENCE — no more cuts!

Successive cuts in defence spending have left Britain’s armed forces perilously weak. We will boost Britain’s armed forces to ensure that they are able to deal with any emergency, and defend our homeland and our independence. We will bring our troops back from Germany and withdraw from NATO, since recent political developments make both commitments obsolete. We will close all foreign military bases on British soil, and refuse to risk British lives in meddling ‘peace-keeping’ missions in parts of the world where no British interests are at stake — a position of armed neutrality. We will also restore national service for our young with the option of civil or military service.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS — Britain’s interests first!

Britain’s foreign relations should be determined by the protection of our own national interest and not by our like or dislike of other nations’ internal politics. We would have no quarrel with any nation that does not threaten British interests. We will maintain an independent foreign policy of our own, and not a spineless subservience to the USA, the ‘international community’, or any other country.

DEMOCRACY — letting the people decide!

The British people invented modern Parliamentary democracy. Yet in recent years the British people have been denied their democratic rights. On issue after issue, the views of the majority of British people have been ignored and overridden by a Politically Correct ‘elite’ which thinks it knows best. On immigration, on Capital Punishment, on the surrender of British sovereignty to the EU and in numerous other areas, democracy has been absent as Labour, Tories and Lib-Dems conspire in election after election to offer the British people no real choice on such vital issues. The BNP exists to give the British people that choice, and thus to restore and defend the basic democratic rights we have all been denied. We favour more democracy, not less, not just at national but at regional and local level.

Power should be devolved to the lowest level possible so that local communities can make decisions which affect them. We will remove legal curbs on freedom of speech imposed by successive Governments over the last 40 years. We will implement a Bill of Rights guaranteeing fundamental freedoms to the British people. We will ensure that ordinary British people have real democratic power over their own lives and that Government, local and national, is truly accountable to the people who elect it.

Grandparents Apart UK Tour of the East of Scotland.

September 28, 2008

A fantastic report from Jimmy and an inspiration for us all.

Start off in Stirling18th September 2008 where a dozen local shops accepted our leaflets and the local bingo hall ladies were very taken on by what we were about.

We visited Stirling Castle but caravans are not allowed however the man at the entrance gave us 15 minutes to take some photos and give out some leaflets.

Dunblane was next. Just about every shop took leaflets. We had chatted to locals and got some photos of them and the Cathedral. A few leaflets dropped off in Greenloaning, Blackford, Gleneagles, Auchterarder and Aberuthven.

Perth was a nightmare in trying to get somewhere to stop. Eventually we had to go on to the Glencarse Hotel to stay the night where we had a meal but it was very expensive and very little of it We ate in the bar, where a guy was screaming at the puggy and men at the bar’s language was very unpleasant. They even refused to allow me to charge my electric wheelchair.

The next morning we went into Perth and did well in getting shopkeepers to volunteer in taking our leaflets plus we spent the day giving out leaflets in Perth City Centre. Back to the Glencarse where our room had not been serviced or re-supplied with tea and coffee. We were happy to leave that hotel.

Onwards on the road to Dundee (cue for a song) passing through some small villages and Invergowrie to drop off some leaflets in village stores. In Dundee we met up with Mrs Sinclair one of our members who accompanied us to Broughty Ferry and Monifieth where we spent two nights in the Riverview Caravan Site. The site was spotless and a whole lot cheaper than hotels we could not get a hotel in Dundee. Got photos of Margaret standing beside Desperate Dan and chatting to people who were interested in what we do. The Next day we spent a lovely summers day in Dundee City Centre giving out leaflets at the Eastgate Centre and the surrounding streets but the polis chased us away with the caravan. (Talking about feeling like tinkers)

We left Monifeith heading for Aberdeen calling at Forfar where we took photos of the SNP office of Mike Weir, and had quick stops in Brechin, Lawrencekirk and Stonehaven, Portlethan then Aberdeen. The nearest caravan site (Hllhead Caravan Park) was in Kenmay off the A96 to Inverness just at Inverurie. We spent two and a half hours before teatime giving out leaflets to passers’ by and local shops were very good at volunteering to put the leaflets in their windows.

This morning Tuesday 23rd September 2008 we travelled to Old Meldrum. It is a lovely place, the people were very friendly and shops volunteered no bother to display our leaflets and did draw attention with the caravan.

Then onto Ellon where again the people were friendly and volunteering we used the library computer to clear our email account. We had a lovely light lunch in the Ellon Kirk tea shop. The social work took some leaflets. It is terrible trying to get the caravan parked but some of the small places was not too bad. It did take a trick with the locals.

The smaller villages we passed through had only one shop and were not too keen.

Peterhead was also a nice place and most of the shops volunteered to take our leaflets. Social work and the CIB were very helpful. I got a call from Newcastle Radio who wanted to interview me live on Wednesday at 11.15am. An

Fraserburgh was a desolate town a lot of shops were boarded up or had smashed windows. A man in a charity shop told us it was because of the devastating E.U. rules for the fishing industry that the town was like a ghost town. Most shops volunteered to take our leaflets and we had help from two of our members and called on one member to say hello but she was not at home.

We went back to the same caravan park at Inverurie a lady in the park has a terrible story to tell about her problem with not seeing her grandchildren. Tomorrow Wednesday we will spend the day in Aberdeen where a few people had phoned and would like to meet us.

BBC Radio Newcastle phoned as promised. I felt the interview went well. Our charity name, number and website was given out over the air. There is a lady from Gateshead already in the process of setting up a group in that area.

Union Street in Aberdeen was our target for today. There is no parking at all in Union Street so we had to park a bit away up a side street. We spent the day giving out leaflets and asking shops to put the leaflets in their windows. The shopping Mall off Union Street was where we got a good chance to talk to people.

We called in to Nigel Don’s Office in Aberdeen but he was not in, a lady came to the door and recognised our charity and took our leaflets and said she would let Mr Don know we had called.

Tomorrow we had the intention of travelling back to Dundee and over the Tay bridge into Fife but we have run out of leaflets. We have dished 4000 leaflets on our travels and thought we had taken 5000. However that is for another time.

I did not realise how old we are getting. We are exhausted with all the travel hooking up the caravan and moving on.No one else in our group has a towbar or can pull a caravan so it is up to us.

There was no shortage of volunteers to take leaflets and some of our members were very helpful.

A special day is arranged next week for Wednesday 1st October for Edinburgh I will try to set up at the Scottish parliament as a couple of MSPs are interested. Next on to East Lothian and Eyemouth where members are asking for us, we will be taking in Berwick on Tweed also.

‘The Best Interests of the Child’

September 28, 2008

The following is from Jimmy Deuchars of Grandparents Apart UK who contacted the Scottish office recently, we are happy to back their campaign and wish Jimmy all the best.

‘Grandparents are very important in a child’s life’.

Then why are grandparents not promoted as such? especially when they and the children are usually the innocent damaged party of family break ups. Do they encourage children’s organisations to ensure that grandparents are still available to them? No! They do not. Doing nothing does not encourage parents to think of the harm to their own children. This is totally irresponsible from organisations that say they operate in a child’s best interest.

It cannot be denied that many a child has been rescued from abuse and poverty by grandparents who are the biggest carers of children in the world, often without payment and always make sure children have all the essentials. Who knows better what goes on in their family in the first place and in a position to help if permitted?

But grandparent/grandchild’s legal contact is denied every time by the governments of the UK, it is their attitude that alienates that special person from children’s lives.

The Charter for Grandchildren was produced by the Scottish Government as voluntary. The reply we get when quoted is “we don’t need to use it” It needs to be made legal to encourage organisations more to promote the role of grandparents that they so often say are an essential part of children’s lives. They should be moving heaven and earth to use all the protection available for the protection of our children today and not to do so is criminal.

“Whatever it is I fear the Greeks even when they bring gifts”.

September 26, 2008

Gordon Brown announced in his Party Conference speech that his Home Access Project will see £300 millions spent on providing free computers and broadband interent access to families so that they can enhance their learning at home.

This, on the surface, seems all very well but I am reminded of the line from Virgil’s Aeneid: “Whatever it is I fear the Greeks even when they bring  gifts”.

Let us look a little closer. As we all know there’s no such thing as a free lunch. According to BECTA, “Bringing educational creativity to all” the Government’s Home  Access Taskforce, it will be necessary “to reduce availability, restrict access and increase resistance to harmful and inappropriate material on line”. We all immediately jump to the conclusion that Taskforce has hard-core porography in mind.

However, which political party or parties will the Taskforce deem “harmful and inappropriate”? No prizes here!

The essence of Orwell’s “1984″ and the nightmare of thought-control which Gordon Brown’s poisonous offering of free internet access contains is testament to the demonic genius of the man.

News from North east BNP of enrichment in Peterhead.

September 22, 2008

During the weekend an 18-year-old man was attacked being repeatedly kicked and punched by a gang of men in a car park behind Peterhead Academy.

The teenager who had his phone and some money stolen was treated for minor injuries at Peterhead hospital.

The attackers were described as coming from Eastern Europe.

Bid to tackle feral kids is a sham

September 22, 2008

A scheme introduced in Scotland three years ago to force feckless parents to control the criminal behaviour of their children has been exposed as a sham.

Parenting orders were hailed as a major weapon to tackle the scourge of youth offending when first introduced.

But new figures reveal councils have continued to ignore the problem families who allow their ‘feral children’ to run wild on the streets.

Children’s reporters were given powers to order parents of children involved in persistent antisocial or criminal behaviour to attend counselling sessions.

Parents who failed to take action could face fines or prison.

Yet, three years on not one of Scotland’s 32 councils has handed out a parenting order despite the growing levels of youth crime.

Many communities suffer due to the behaviour of a small minority of disruptive youths and will be quite rightly concerned that the remedies available are not being implemented.

Britain is full up

September 21, 2008

Even though it has been officially announced that Britain is the most crowded country in Europe we are still being bombarded with information about Britain coming to a standstill if the influx of immigration ceases.

Yet, The British Chamber of Commerce has stated that unemployment will rise to two million, up 300,000 over the next two years.

Of course a percentage of the total will be genuinely unable to work but why can’t the rest not be made to take jobs?

Use the skilled people and train the unskilled, with the lazy, stop their benefits if they refuse to take any job offered them.

The fit and healthy could be cleaning the streets or removing graffiti. The more motivated should be enrolled in apprentices, maybe then Britain would stand a chance of revitalising its industry.

The care industry will not grind to a halt without foreign labour, the NHS? We have nurses desperate for work, and doctors leaving Britain because they cant find jobs.

We need to bring some sanity back into British life, and if it’s not done soon there will be no Britain left.

Support, vote, and join the British National Party, the only party willing to take up the challenge.

Turnout: 22.68%

After a 3-week campaign, our BNP activists spent polling day, 18 September 2008, visiting the stations in Baillieston, and attending the count.

Candidate Charles Baillie commented on the result: “This is quite a good result for us given that this is the first time standing in this ward. We beat the Greens, who have 5 councillors on Glasgow City council! We just missed beating the Solidarity candidate, which has 1 councillor. So given the resources of these candidates it is a good result for us. It was also very satisfying to beat the SSP by a comfortable margin.”

The day was a little marred by up to a dozen anti-democratic Marxist troublemakers who were intimidating the public who were trying to access the polling stations.

Charles Baillie commented:

“The anti-democratic Marxist rabble got inside the grounds of the polling station – where they were not entitled to be because they were not claiming to represent any particular party – and were shouting absurd lie-filled slogans. They were covering all approaches to the door, walking in front of voters who were trying to get into vote, and aggressively getting into voters’ faces, many of whom were elderly. We were concerned for the electorate’s safety, and also for the safety of the council officials within these polling stations.

“Not only was this an unsuccessful attempt to intimidate our activists who were going about their lawful democratic activity, but it was also an appalling attempt to intimidate voters at the poll. This disgraceful, anti-democratic behaviour is more to be expected from Robert Mugabe’s thugs in Zimbabwe, than on the peaceful streets of Baillieston.

“The British National Party would like to express our appreciation of the professionalism of the Presiding Officers who ensured that voters were able to access the polling stations, despite the best efforts of the Marxist mob.”

INCIDENT AT GARROWHILL

The only party activists allowed inside the grounds of the polling station are the candidates and the official “polling agents” of each party. These people need to apply for, and wear, the official passes which are issued by the council.

The troublemakers, who did not have official documentation, got inside the grounds of the polling station, causing an obstruction, and harassing members of the public who were intimidated, and who were complaining about feeling intimidated. Indeed, two women electors complained to the Presiding Officer that they were being intimidated by the troublemakers.

The Marxists were creating a very nasty atmosphere and demonstrating their contempt for the electoral process.

This was a clear attempt to disrupt the democratic process.

At this point, the Presiding Officer came out and tried to get them to leave. He asked the troublemakers which party they were from and they avoided any direct answers – giving evasive answers. These anti-democratic agitators were breaking the rule that you can only get inside the grounds of a polling station if you have a “polling agent” pass for a specific party.

The Presiding Officer called the police because these people were not moving. Two police officers arrived quite quickly.

When one of the police officers was speaking to one of the troublemakers, an SNP activist came up and sided with the troublemakers and tried to justify their appalling behaviour. Indeed, we were concerned at how pally some of the SNP people were with the anti-democratic agitators.

The support of the SNP activist deflected the policeman from doing what he should have done immediately, which was to tell these totalitarian leftist troublemakers to leave the grounds of the polling station, where they were not entitled to be. If they had refused to leave, then they should have been arrested for breach of the peace. Unfortunately, they were allowed to remain.

At this point, the Presiding Officer decided to call a meeting of the parties in a room in the polling station in order to explain the rules.  The SNP candidate, David Turner – who seems a very uncouth, rude and overweight person – said in reference to our candidate, that he did not want to “sit with this shit”.

The Presiding Officer said the troublemakers would have to stand outside the gates rather than inside the gates of the polling station, because they refused to give any information about what party they were representing and were not official candidates or polling agents.

At this point, the SNP candidate sided with the rabble and said he too would stand outside the gate. The only candidate who said he would stay inside the gates was the Conservative candidate.

The Presiding Officer allowed the BNP to stay inside the gates of the Polling Station and at this point, the Marxist rabble moved outside the gates.

However, the BNP activists were concerned for the safety of the polling station staff and for the general public, and decided reluctantly that it would be in everyone’s best interests for us simply to move to another polling station.

The British National Party would like to express our thanks to the staff of Glasgow City Council who administered the election. They were courteous, impartial and completely professional, and were concerned to ensure fairness and the correct democratic procedure. The Presiding Officers at Garrowhill and Caledonia Primary School were exemplary.

The day had its amusing incidents. One of our activists, who was about to give someone a leaflet outside Caledonia Primary School, was deliberately jostled by an extremely unpleasant and inarticulate middle-aged male. Our activist said “No, shoving and physical contact, please.”

This troublemaker replied, “I wouldn’t want to touch scum like you, anyway!”

Our activist replied, “You’re obviously incapable of stringing a sentence together. If you’re a representative of your party then it must be pretty pathetic.”

He replied, hilariously trying to defend the intellectual calibre of his associates, “We have doctors, lawyers and professors in our party.”

Our man replied, “So, where are they?”

That shut him up!

Even though the leftist rabble were trying to intimidate the electorate, the BNP activists nevertheless received warm comments from the public, including a voter who expressed his support and who wanted to take a bundle of leaflets.

Finally, at the count, despite our candidate offering to shake hands after the result was announced, the new SNP councillor, David Turner, ignorantly refused to shake hands.

This new councillor for Baillieston appears to be a coarse and awkward person who does not know how to behave appropriately, with personal manners and social skills well below the standard required for this public position of responsibility. This new councillor also appears to have difficultly in public speaking, and gave a somewhat inarticulate, halting, clumsy, disjointed speech as he struggled to express himself.

Congratulations to our candidate, and all our activists who have helped, once again, to raise the flag of the British National Party and give the people of Baillieston the chance to vote for the hope of our great country.

Aberdeen, just say no!

September 18, 2008

With the news that a planning application has been put to Aberdeen city council for the building of a 5000 seat Mosque and that various concerned groups are preparing to campaign against permission being given, it is some what disheartening to see that plans for a £18 million mosque in the West Midlands have been given the go ahead despite objections from local residents.

Dudley council in England turned down plans to build the mosque last year after a petition opposing the scheme raise a staggering 22,000 signatures.

But the decision has been over-ruled by a Labour Government planning inspector in a breathtaking example of indifference to the indigenous peoples wishes.

This government should follow Italy’s lead where the Northern League party is piloting a bill through parliament to impose strict regulations that will effectively block the construction of nearly all mosques.

Parliamentarian Andrea Gibelli talking about the number of mosques being built in Italy said, “ I consider this to be an unfettered colonisation of our culture.” He went on to say that “mosques discourage integration and are often places of cultural indoctrination some times linked to international terrorism”.

After watching channel fours programme, undercover mosques, it is hard to disagree.

It is worth noting that if you wish to visit the Maldives, a Muslim country, you will not be allowed to take with you alcohol, a bible or any ‘idols’, which includes a crucifix. How many churches are being built there I wonder?

Nu-Labour storm-troops in Baillieston

September 17, 2008

Nu-Labour has sent its storm troopers into Baillieston handing out the vilest lie filled leaflet I have ever seen.

While our activists have gone about their business in a professional way encountering no problems from the local people the anti-democracy arm of the Labour party obviously worried that people have responded well to our message have kindly donated free toilet paper to the ward in an attempt to attract voters!

Do these people really think that anyone will believe these tired accusations based in fantasy? Do they take the good people of Baillieston for idiots, just like their masters do?

The BNP is growing because we treat people with the respect they deserve, the voters in Scotland will make up their own minds about who they vote for, like all Britons they don’t like to be told who not to vote for!

The hundreds of ‘Voice of freedoms’ handed out by our team of activists will more than counter the childish nonsense produced by the anti-BNP goons.

Good luck Charlie and team for tomorrow.

Local income tax=Poll tax

September 15, 2008

I have noticed that the people who support a local income tax are the same people who protested about the unfairness of the poll tax.

What do they think the local income tax will be?

Once again working families will be penalised and forced to pay three or four times over for services from one household.

The argument that those that earn more should pay more is flawed as they already do pay a larger share in income tax.

Where do people think the money for the council tax subsidy comes from?

The BNP would keep council tax as the local form of taxation. It is a property tax with a personal element and there is an existing method of collecting it. As it is based on a property it is practical for a local authority to assess the total local liability and so calculate its own budget.

Council tax as a source of local government revenue has fallen into disrepute primary because the bills have risen so much. We need a system that is seen to be fair, not too costly to the resident, not too bureaucratic to collect, and which enhances local responsibility/accountability and the independence and self reliance of our local communities. Most local residents will contribute towards local tax, but without overburdening the low paid and pensioners who would be on receipt of a sliding scale of council tax benefit which would cover a fair proportion of their council tax liability.

One way we would cut local spending to reduce the council tax payable would be by abolishing all multicultural and politically correct posts, end the funding of all multicultural, multi-ethnic and politically correct schemes and stop any further asylum seeker and east European economic migration into Scotland. We would also scrap Non-Domestic Rate relief for non-British and non-indigenous cultural, ethnic and religious charitable expressions.

Of course with out the backing of the opposition parties the SNP will not get this through, giving Salmond another excuse for not delivering on their manifesto promises and someone else to blame apart from Westminster.

Report Baillieston 15th September 2008-09-15

September 15, 2008

The final weekend of canvassing prior to the by-election at Baillieston has just been successfully accomplished. The weather was kind to us and, despite the heavy rain of the last few weeks, we have been extremely fortunate to avoid a drenching throughout this campaign. The Gods must be smiling on us.

Work started on Friday evening with a visit to Shettleston Police Station to inform them, as requested, of our election-board activities. The advantage of this approach is that the roads are empty of traffic and we get on with the job in peace and quiet, or at least that is the theory! It depends on whether you do a main street with pubs or residential areas. Certainly, our activities can provoke an interesting and varied (diverse?) response. After an evening pounding the streets and climbing lampposts I challenge anyone to say that we are just another boring and bland political party. We had some interesting encounters with the local people.

Right at the start, within about 5 minutes, a man appeared from the pub next to us, which is adjacent to a busy junction and shouted at us while waving his arms about. We were, naturally, concerned and waited to see what would happen next. Within a few seconds this middle aged man started to jump up a lamp-post beside where we were standing and rip down the election-boards of two of the Far-Left parties and then stamp on them. Of course we were very relieved that this unusual behaviour, which cannot be condoned, was not directed at us. Furthermore, he insisted that we board every post at the junction and demanded that we give him two more of our boards to decorate his “own” two posts just outside the pub. They were fixed at very low level and we did not give much for their chances of survival. Amazingly, they were still in place at the time of writing. I can only assume that they have been under guard 24/7.

Naturally, not everyone chooses to support us and, while halfway up a lamppost outside a polling station, one of the few leftist insomniacs who inhabit this constituency decided to mount a challenge. First, this aggressive woman threatened us with the police. She seemed to be under the delusion that we were acting illegally. When we responded that we were acting within the law she and her husband, who seemed to be hiding behind her, resorted to sneer tactics. It was time to move on. At another location some distance away we decided to have a break.

We then started to board the street outside one of the main polling stations. However, we became aware that we were being followed for some considerable distance and decided to stop and await developments. Our “shadower” finally caught up and gave us his sincere congratulations on the job we were doing. He shook hands with all three of us and then disappeared down the road. By this time it was getting late and we decided to call it quits while on a high note.

Over the weekend we covered three key areas, although I should qualify this by saying that we have really only managed to canvass a small sample of each area. I am only sorry that with our limited number of volunteers and the time constraints we have not managed to speak to more of the people of Baillieston. They have impressed me as being decent hard working folk. Certainly, people are extremely concerned about immigration and although we are not a single issue party this is what most of them are worried about as it has a direct effect on their jobs and the areas in which they live. One woman that I spoke to asked me what the party would do for her. As soon as I mentioned immigration she became extremely interested. She works at the sausage factory in Shettleston and says that she and her colleagues have not had a pay rise for years. The reason? Cheap imported labour on the minimum wage who will work 24/7 if asked. At home she has problems with asylum seekers/immigrants who live above her in an overcrowded flat. Weekends are a misery at times with noise and general anti-social behaviour. She took a pile of papers and leaflets from us.

Another area, which is north of the Edinburgh Road, has the feel that the politicians have abandoned it. Not an election board to be seen. We had to double check to make sure that we were still in the constituency as it is very close to Easterhouse. Of course, one never knows what sort of reception one will receive in an unfamiliar area and we were quite apprehensive. We need not have worried. The response was wonderful. Within minutes a horde of excited children accompanied us round the houses. They knew who we were and insisted on escorting us wherever we went. The adults greeted us warmly and one man spent some considerable time talking to us and giving us insight into this area of which we had only vaguely heard. He shook hands and wished us all the best. We gave him contact details for joining the Party.

Some older residents expressed apathy and disillusionment with politics and who can blame them? I think that it would be fair to say that we left them with some hope and renewed interest in the future of our country. I only wish that we could justify their trust in us in the near future. Things are changing rapidly at the moment and we are the only party who are prepared to take on the David and Goliath task of opposing the evil Hydra of Marxist Multiculturalism that exists in its many insidious and intolerable forms. We took our leave of this area but not before being souvenired of our remaining boards and rosettes by the eager and lively children. E-bay may have some unusual items for sale in the near future!

AK47-SNP Councillor

September 14, 2008

John (you are all racist) MasonA north-east woman has been forced to remove the full text of a letter written by the daughter of suspended SNP councillor Jahangir Hanif, who was filmed firing a AK47 assault rifle in Pakistan, from her internet blog after being threaten with legal action.

The letter, which has been sent to Alex Salmond, contains allegations about Hanif written by his teenage daughter Noor and published on her soapbox blog on Friday.

The SNPs John Mason in a sweeping PC statement claimed people concerned about Hanifs actions and who were calling for him to stand down were ‘racist’.

How they love to use that word to stifle any criticism of their foreign representatives behaviour.

Consider the headlines if a BNP councillor was pictured firing a SA80 assault rifle out on the moors!

Why is an SNP councillor taking legal action against a blogger for printing a letter from his own daughter to the First Minister anyway, or am I being ‘racist’ asking?

In a time of heightened fear of terrorist attacks, and indeed not that long since the Glasgow airport outrage, to accuse anyone of calling for the SNP to make an example of this mans foolish behaviour a racist is quite frankly shameful and smacks of cowardice. It would seem there is more to come maybe!

Don’t get fooled again

September 12, 2008

At last years election the SNP targeted Conservative voters by emphasising policies such as increasing police numbers and cutting business rates.

In the clamour to give Labour a kicking this tactic worked, especially in the north east where the Conservatives lost an MSP and the SNP increased its tally to seven.

Now those voters are seeing the folly of their ways as the SNP show their true left wing colours.

In the past week we have seen Alex Salmond announce three deeply non-Conservative policies.

The proposed local income tax will clobber households where two people are working.

The policy to prevent 18-20 year olds from buying alcohol from shops penalises our law-abiding and responsible young people along with the yobs that they should be targeting.

Finally it was revealed that children as young as 13 will be able to get condoms, a typical left wing policy that will normalise sex and fail to provide moral boundaries that has created the problem in the first place, and once again dilute the purpose of our schools.

And as a general election looms Salmond has praised Margaret Thatcher in an attempt to keep conservatives on side.

These fickle voters should remember that the party they voted for in the past is called the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party totally at odds with the SNPs independence agenda.

As The Who once sang in their hit ‘Wont get fooled again’, “Here comes the new boss, same as the old boss”!!

The British National Party, the real alternative, the real nationalists.

SNP, spinning like tops!

September 10, 2008

Kenny ‘no-justice’ MacAskill has been praising his own early-release policies and boasted that the SNP is ” committed to building three new prisons”.

Spin seems to be a growing SNP trait, I feel we should point out that 28% of early-release prisoners had to be recalled and that two out of the three new prisons would in fact replace existing jails and the third was agreed by the previous Executive.

Scottish Office meeting report

September 8, 2008

The Scottish Office held its third meeting on Sunday 7th, this was considered the most productive so far.

A guest speaker, Niall Walker, ex-Lib-Dem and later Independent councillor, gave a very interesting talk on how he got elected and the ‘Yes Minister’ attitude he found in council chambers! The fact that he was happy to address a room full of BNP officials shows how far we are moving into the mainstream of politics.

Roy Jones used a DVD to great effect when highlighting why the North east are campaigning against the proposed building of a 5000 seat Mosque in Aberdeen. During the DVD the only sound in the room were the gasps of disbelief in just what the ‘religion of peace’ is truly like!

It was felt this was a good time for a tea break.

A report on the ‘Baillie for Baillieston’ campaign lifted our spirits once again as Charlie and Max reported on the favourable response they are receiving on the doorstep.

So from Fife to Aberdeenshire the BNP are active and moving forward, if you would like to join our winning team please contact the Scottish Office for information on available posts.
