Education, Education, Education! (But For Whom?)

March 31, 2009

Universities are not happy that the government have knocked back “academic institutions” as up to 25% of them are bogus.

Universities, independent schools and colleges must apply for a license to teach new students.

The government have a screening process which academic institutions have to satisfy, which includes a visit by a UK Border Agency (UKBA) officer as part of the vetting process to root out the fake institutions.

In the past year, 2,100 universities, independent schools and colleges registered online on an official website with 460 applications rejected.

There will also be measures introduced which will allow Foreign students will be able to work in Britain for an extra year before being sent home to give foreign students more time to work here legally before going home.

In the past 5 years, 1.6 Million student visas were handed out and they can stay for up to a year after they finish studying. Now it will be “upgraded” to 2 years.

Of course these rules only apply to students from OUTSIDE Europe. And they have to prove that they have the money, qualifications and a sponsorship from a licensed institution to study in the U.K.

Earlier this year it emerged that immigration officers had been ordered to stop deporting foreign students who overstay their visas.

A leaked memo suggested they are not regarded as a high enough priority.

Hundreds of thousands of students, including many who never intended to study in Britain, could be staying illegally. They are effectively being granted an amnesty.

As we have known for a long time, bogus colleges are used as fronts to allow illegal immigrants to enter the country.

Since Labour has been elected there has been an explosion of sham “colleges” which have allowed foreigners to live and work here.

A UKBA spokesperson said: “The new student tier of the Points Based System allows us to weed out those people who just want to use a sham college course as a front for illegal working – as well as the dodgy institutions that let them do just that.

“Everyone who comes here must play by the rules and that includes foreign students wanting to take advantage of our world-class universities and colleges.

“So far around 2,000 universities and colleges have applied to join the new sponsorship register which will allow them to bring foreign students into Britain to study. Around 500 applications from colleges and universities haven’t made it through our screening process and onto the list of approved institutions.”

Education for our own native peoples should be a top priority instead of inviting foreign students in to disappear into cities, working illegally. The amount of students graduating who will be unemployed is astounding and with the millions of unemployed – and the figure still growing – what will those foreign students do for 2 years with no job?
Yep, that’s right! Enjoying the U.K lifestyle thanks to you, the taxpayer!

Spreading the word

March 28, 2009

500BNP Scotland lead candidate Gary Raikes was out and about the coastal towns of the Northeast today helping to hand out the new “say no to Europe” leaflets.
Gary told the news team that ” Peterhead and Fraserburgh are two North east fishing towns that have suffered the most under the disastrous Labour rule and after turning to the SNP have now been let down by them as well”

“Alex Salmond made many rash promises to help the fishing industry when he was in opposition and yet has failed to do anything worth while since winning office, this has led to a great deal of disaffection with the SNP in what is their home ground, and since it has become clear that he wants closer ties with the EU while flooding the country with ‘new Scots’ people are looking to cast their votes elsewhere and from the reception our leaflets received it looks like many will be coming our way!”

Activists were also out in Edinburgh where we are pleased to welcome Kenny McDonald on board. Kenny will be joining Lothian’s organiser Davie Orr as one of our new officials, the other is Peter Mayer who has taken on the role of organiser for Highlands and Islands, our thanks to John Robertson for sitting in until we found someone, John will be taking on the education officers role along side his security work.

Peter lives in Fort William and is keen to establish the BNP in the region, we look forward to reporting on his future activities and successes.

Northeast organiser, Euro candidate and local council candidate Roy Jones has his work cut out as he fights the Aboyne and Deeside seat this coming month, like the majority of seats in Scotland this ward has never been contested by the BNP and the result will give some indication of the percentage we can expect in the Euro election.

Our message is now reaching across Scotland if you would like to become active in your region please contact the Scottish Office.

Spineless Eventually Equals Headless

March 27, 2009

Dutch politician Geert Wilders has become the latest missile in a global war between two civilisations. Without wishing to seem pedantic and pointing out the obvious this is of course the conflict between Western Civil Society and traditional Islam. Wilders, now in hiding and under continual armed guard due to death threats, recently released a short film entitled ‘Fitna’ (‘strife’ in Arabic) over the Internet. Juxtaposing images of Muslim violence with quotes from the Koran, fury followed in its wake and the film declared grossly offensive. Now the odd thing here, given that Muslims live in a permanent state of ‘deeply offended’ anyway, is that they often refer to these same passages as perfectly acceptable validations for their actions, so simply illustrating this correlation in a film would seem uncontroversial. Contentious or not, however, one would definitely envisage politicians and journalists in every free society defending Wilders right to make such a film. Well not here… you’d have to take a trip to another planet where its inhabitants did not happily renounce their most fundamental freedoms in the name of ‘religious sensitivity’.

Take a look at the world’s response to Fitna. The Dutch government sought to ban it outright, and EU ministers publicly condemned it, as did UN Secretary-General Ban (no pun intended) Ki-moon. Dutch television refused to broadcast it and when Wilders declared his intention of airing it over the Internet his American web-host Network Solutions closed down his website. All this happened before the proposal to show the film at a private viewing in the House of Lords and when Wilders attempted to enter Britain to host Fitna and answer any questions about it he was promptly arrested at the airport and detained there until the next convenient plane arrived to take him home.

Predictably (yawn) there were instantaneous calls for an embargo of Dutch products throughout the Muslim world, and several Muslim countries blocked ‘You Tube’ in the endeavour to save their populations from the indignation of Wilders’ blasphemy penetrating their minds. Next followed isolated protests, attacks on embassies and ubiquitous demands for Wilders’ murder, although it must be said that nothing has yet occurred to rival the ferocious response to the Danish cartoons.

In the interim, incidentally, one of the Danish cartoonists threatened to sue Wilders for breach of copyright because he’d used the bomb-laden image of Mohammed in Fitna without permission. This said cartoonist has also been living in hiding since the publication of the cartoons in 2006. Ironically there does seem something rather amusing about one hunted man unable to venture out in public for fear of being killed by religious lunatics, threatening to sue another man in the same sticky situation over a copyright violation!

Wilders and indeed the Danish cartoonists have all been extensively vilified for ‘seeking to inflame’ the Muslim community. Even if this had been Wilders’ objective this condemnation represents an astounding concurrence of moral blindness and political incautiousness. The point is not (and never will be) that some free person spoke, or wrote, or illustrated in such a manner as to inflame the Muslim community. The point is that only the Muslim community is flammable in this way. The storm over Fitna like all such controversies renders one fact about our world especially significant: Muslims appear to be far more concerned about perceived slights to their religion than about the atrocities committed daily in its name. Our accommodation of this psychopathic skewing of priorities has, more and more, taken the form of spineless, blinkered, submission and compliance.

Another irony arises here that cannot have gone unnoticed. In the face of all provocations the position of the Muslim community appears to be; ‘Islam is a religion of peace, and if you say that it isn’t we will kill you’. Of course the reality is often more shaded, but this is about as shaded as it ever gets ‘ Islam is a religion of peace, and if you say that it isn’t, we peaceful Muslims cannot be held responsible for what our less peaceful brothers and sisters do. When they burn your embassies, or kidnap and slaughter your journalists, know that we will hold you first and foremost accountable and will use the bulk of our energies criticising you for ‘racism’ and ‘Islamophobia.’’

Submission in the face of these threats has a chilling effect on the exercise of free speech. Failure of Western governments to make it safe for people to speak openly about the problem of Islam could be a matter of finance perhaps? They cannot afford to protect every person who speaks out against Muslim intolerance. No this is not the problem…the problem is that so few people do speak out, if there were tens of thousands of voices the risk to each would be radically reduced, and those who do are persecuted by not only the Muslim community but by their own governments as well.

While it remains taboo to criticise religious faith in general, it is considered especially unwise to criticise Islam. Only Muslims hound and hunt their apostates, infidels, and critics in the 21st century. There are to be sure reasons why this is so. Some of these reasons have to do with accidents of history and geopolitics, but others can be directly traced to doctrines sanctifying violence, which are unique to Islam.

What about the allegedly ‘moderate’ Muslims, all those civil, freedom loving reasonable Muslims, the ones who are just as appalled by intolerance as I am? By the law of averages alone there must be some, but vocal moderates are very hard to find. Wherever ‘moderate Islam’ does announce itself, one often discovers frank Islamism lurking just a euphemism or two beneath the surface.

The subterfuge is rendered all but invisible to the general public by political correctness, wishful thinking, and ‘white guilt.’ This is where we find sinister people successfully posing as ‘moderates’. Take a good long hard look at the members who comprise The Muslim Council of Great Britain, they are an Islamist public relations organisation posing as a civil-rights lobby.

The association between the doctrine of Islam and Islamic violence is simply not open to dispute. Muslims themselves acknowledge and demonstrate this connection at every possible opportunity and to deny it is to retreat into a fantasy world of political correctness and religious apology. Liberalist talk of how benign Islam ‘really’ is and about how the problem of fundamentalism exists in all religions only obfuscates what may be the most pressing issue of our time.

Islam as it is currently understood and practiced by vast numbers, is antithetical to civil society. A recent poll showed that thirty-six percent of British Muslims (ages 16-24) believe that a person should be killed for leaving the faith. Sixty-eight percent of British Muslims feel that their neighbours who insult Islam should be arrested and prosecuted, and seventy-eight percent think that the Danish cartoonists should have been brought to justice. These are so called British Muslims, if there is such a thing.

The Muslim community is continuously exempted from paying any respect to Western standards of moral order in the name of cultural relativism which turns things completely upside down, and it is us in the end who are forced to ‘respect’ the glaring pathologies in their culture.

The lesson we should draw from the Fitna debacle is that we need more criticism of Islam, not less. Let it come down in such torrents that not even the most deluded Muslim could conceive of containing it. There is no such ‘right’ as the ‘right’ not to be offended; indeed I am deeply offended by the contents of the Koran with its overt hatred of Christians, Jews, apostates, non-believers and homosexuals, but cannot demand its suppression.

It is time we recognized that those who claim ‘the right not to be offended’ have also chillingly announced their hatred of Western Civilisation and will stop at nothing in order to triumph.

SNP Handing Out Taxpayers Cash To Their Favourite Singer (but she did waive her fee!)

March 27, 2009

Sandi Thom must be a favourite of the taxpayer. After all, they have given her nearly £10,000. Oh yeah, that’s right. The taxpayer isn’t in charge of the taxpayer account – the phoney nationalists who were voted in are looking after it for us. And generous as they are, they gave the singer £9,514 of taxpayers’ money.

A favour deserves a favour and during the 2007 Holyrood election, Miss Thom agreed to be featured in a letter to young voters encouraging her to vote SNP – even though now she said in an interview last month, “I have never stated that I support the SNP”. Even though Miss Thom waives her usual fees , there are other fees to consider. Such as:

£3,000 towards expenses associated with appearing at St Andrew’s Day celebrations sponsored by the Scottish Executive.

£600 for breakfast, dinner and refreshments

Miss Thom performed at a St Andrew’s Day concert staged in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens last year

£1,440 flights for her, her three-piece band and her tour manager

£860 for hotel accommodation

£581 for breakfast, dinner and refreshments

£404 for a car

£750 appearance fees to her agents

The singer also performed at an event launch at Duff House, near her Banff home and in Mr Salmond’s Banff and Buchan Westminster constituency and cost the public:

£1,000 agency fee

£1,478 of transportation

Last month, she dueted with the First Minister, who joined her on stage for a rendition of the classic song, Caledonia, at a gig in Banff.

Miss Thom sent Mr Salmond an advance copy of her second album, which he forwarded to his good friend Sir Sean Connery’s home in the Bahamas.(what’s wrong with Scotland Sean?)

She was also in the Homecoming festival and TV adverts to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns.

SNP’s chief executive, Peter Murrell, likes the singer that much that he wrote to members with details of tour of Miss Thom and how to get tickets

Mr Salmond’s spokesperson said that he was a huge fan of Sandi Thom – he must be eh?

A spokesperson for Mr Salmond said: “Sandi Thom has not received a performance fee for any of the Scottish government-supported events she has participated in to promote Scotland.”

Mr Salmond’s spokesperson added: “Having celebrities waive their normal performance fees for taking part in events which promote Scotland is saving thousands of pounds, and no one would be expected to contribute without having their expenses covered.

“For any Labour MP to raise the issue of expenses is absurd and the height of hypocrisy. These expenses would barely keep them in their second homes for a week.”

The SNP are failing us all

March 26, 2009

Hardly a day seems to go past without the SNP making yet another U turn, they have made so many that it is no suprise that they are completely lost.

Today it is alcohol price controls which they can add to police numbers, class sizes, student grants, local income tax, reducing civil servant numbers, employing more teachers, referendum for independence etc etc.

This so called ‘government’ as branded by Salmond has enjoyed a long honeymoon but that is now clearly over and the emperor can be seen in the all together!

The SNP have no direction and appear to be overwhelmed by actually being in office, with almost every policy falling by the wayside and the confusing message of independence from England to enjoy rule by Brussels being pushed is it any wonder they are failing?

They have of course organised the home coming event with the aid of a few has-been celebrity tax exiles and bus adverts in Aberdeen supporting them, which would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic.

Local election in Aberdeenshire

March 25, 2009

BNP Scotland is happy to announce its nominated candidate for the Aboyne and Deeside council election will be Roy Jones.

Roy is 49 years old and has over 25 years experience within the construction industry, self employed, specialising in the restoration and renovation of Scotland’s traditional buildings.
Recently remarried, Roy has two teenage children, one step daughter and one step grandchild.
He is the North East Regional Organiser for BNP Scotland, and his interests are politics, natural history and travel.

Roy will be standing for stronger law and order, protecting the countryside and putting local people first. If elected he will be the voice of commonsense the people want, exposing the waste of tax-payers money and the mismanagement of local council.

Animal Cruelty Is On The Increase

March 24, 2009

In recent months the rise in animal cruelty is described as “shameful” by a leading animal charity – SSPCA.

Animals are subjected to of mistreatment, neglect and violence.

126,000 calls were received in 2008 which is an increase of 20% and inspectors attended more than 38,000 incidents, 5,000 more than in 2007.

Emergency calls from members of the public to the Scottish SPCA Animal Helpline leapt by 20% in 2008, with 126,000 calls received.
Scottish SPCA Chief Superintendent Mike Flynn said: “Whether it’s violence towards animals, abandonments or neglect, we are dealing with increase after increase.

“While we are lucky that in general people in Scotland take great care of their animals, it’s shameful that so many still believe animals are something worthless they can throw away, abuse or even kill”.

The range of animal cruelty still seen in Scotland beggar’s belief.

Animals are abandoned, neglected, deprived of essential veterinary care, starved, shot, beaten to death and dogs fought against each other.

Neglect and violence is such a major issue the charity is now extending its service, with a new animal rescue and rehoming centre planned for Aberdeen.

More recently, the cases of two dogs cruelly abused in Scotland exposes the inhumane treatment of animals in a country that purports to love animals.

One of these cases was reported in the news last week in which a dog was found tied to a barbed wire fence in Angus. The poor, helpless animal was left there and starved to death for up to two weeks.

The body was found on the outskirts of Brechin on Friday the 13th.

The dog was a female mastiff cross. After an examination was carried out on the dog the contents of the stomach consisted of only wood and soil.

The Scottish SPCA said it would have been a “slow and lingering death from starvation and dehydration”.

Senior Inspector Mark Lumgair added: “I can only describe the scene that met me as horrendous. It’s one of the worst cases I’ve ever had to deal with in all my time as an inspector.

“This poor dog has been made to suffer unimaginable cruelty over a prolonged period of time.

“She looks to have been there for at least a week, maybe two. Those last days of her life must have been filled with extreme fear and pain.

“I can’t begin to imagine how she was feeling and thinking in the days and hours that she spent there alone and suffering”.

Now forward on a week and another case of utter cruelty crops up which has made the news!

Another dog – an elderly female black Labrador – was found with sickening injuries. This poor dog was found with its head smashed in and throat cut on a track near the village of Midlem, near Selkirk.

It was believed that the poor dog may have been struck by a car, but after a post mortem it was revealed that it had been struck repeatedly over the head and then had its throat cut before being left to slowly bleed to death.

Chief Superintendent Mike Flynn of the SSPCA commented “This would have been an excruciatingly painful death filled with terror”.

He also went on to say “The dog has been struck with a heavy blunt object twice, once on the muzzle, penetrating through its sinus, and once more on the head causing muscle damage,

“However, this did not kill her. Whoever did this then, tried to slit the dog’s throat, but again, they did this very badly and this did not end her suffering”.

“A forensic expert has advised that she died from a combination of shock, stress and bleeding to death slowly”.

Forensic tests also revealed that the dog was old and suffering from a degenerative bone disease which may have left the animal with a pronounced limp or difficulty in using its back legs.

Superintendent Flynn commented: “It appears someone decided that this dog’s time was up and has taken it upon themselves to end her life in one of the most traumatic ways imaginable.

“It is beyond belief that someone, who is very likely to have kept this dog as a faithful pet for many years, could have allowed, or caused, it to die in such horrific circumstances”.

Causing an animal unnecessary suffering can lead to 12 months in prison and fines of up to £20,000, or both.

The penalty for abandoning an animal is a fine of up to £5,000 and six months in prison.

The Scottish SPCA said that in both cases it would also seek a lifetime ban on keeping animals for anyone found guilty of these crimes.

A very important quote from one of the British National Party members that was said to me is one to take note of. They said “You can tell a lot by a country just by they way they treat their animals and children”.

What does that say about us?

Labour Caught With Their Trousers Down – AGAIN!

March 23, 2009

As most people may have seen in the news yesterday and today, the Edinburgh South MP Nigel Griffiths has been caught with his trousers down!

Nigel Griffiths MP has said how he is “ashamed” after he was found out to have been cheating on his wife of 30 years, within an office of the House of Commons/Traitors. He went on to say that his behaviour had “fallen below acceptable standards”. Ashamed? Really? Ah, that’s only because he was “exposed”. Shame he didn’t think about that whilst getting his jollies!

If it’s not bad enough that this MP and representative of the Edinburgh South constituency broke a code of conduct that all MP’s must abide by, it’s also the fact it took place on the same day Britain stood united to remember the fallen heroes of this once great nation – Remembrance Day!

What was the clause in the code of conduct manual that all MP’s should follow? Clause 15 decrees: “Members shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner which will tend to maintain and strengthen the public’s trust and confidence in the integrity of Parliament and never undertake any action which would bring the House of Commons, or its members generally, into disrepute.”

Griffiths resigned from Government in March 2007 over his opposition to funding new Trident nuclear submarines. Could it be that had his mind was on the wrong torpedo? He was also a former deputy leader of the House of Commons.

In 2002 a Commons standards committee found he had been claiming £10,000 a year expenses, since 1997, for rent on an Edinburgh office that he owned.

It is clear that the current government and party that are in power don’t believe that these rules apply to them. How many more times must it go on before they are voted out of office?

60 Children Become Homeless Every Day In Scotland And Still The Gates Of Immigration Are Open

March 22, 2009

A study by Shelter, a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing, suggested that 22,000 young people were affected by homelessness every year.

Also, the report found that families with children were also affected. Homeless families with children rose by 18% over five years and families with children in temporary accommodation rose by 27% over three years.

Shelter also believe that economic problems could make the problem worse.

Graeme Brown, Shelter Scotland’s director, said: “A decent, warm, safe home is crucial to all aspects of children’s well being.

Well, if the government stopped handing out housing to new arrivals, aka illegal migrants, and stop them before they even got here our own people wouldn’t be suffering this problem.

It also begs the question, why on earth did J.K Rowling give the Labour Party a donation of £1,000,000 for their contribution on alleviating poverty? It is clear that poverty is still an issue and only getting worse. One only has to see the effects of poverty at its finest when you leave your leafy middle and upper class suburbs to see how our other half live.

The recession has a tight grip on everyone. And the people that don’t know what it’s like to come from the working/under class could soon be adding to these statistics as they struggle to juggle the mortgage, fuel and credit card debts.

Scotland Needs More Black Students

March 22, 2009

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has asked Scottish University bosses why there are only an average of 1.4% of black students in Scotland compared to an average of 2% all over Britain.

This is because black students face “barriers” into higher education and a “lack of commitment” from Scottish universities.

All this because in 2006/07 the statistics of black student populations in further education was;

Robert Gordon University – 5.3%

Dundee University – 3.4%

The University of Edinburgh – 1%

Aberdeen University – 0.9%

St Andrews – 0.7%

Stirling University – 0.4%

University of Glasgow – 0.3%

The UHI Millennium Institute – 0.3%

Glasgow School of Art – 0.3%

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) – 0%

Only 0.16% of the population of Scotland is black and the EHCR INSISTS that higher educational establishments should strive to attain the 2% average.

Of course the commission is sending out representatives to sniff out “under representation” of ethnic minorities and ensure that they are promoted as these figures are “concerning”!

The Race Equality Duty code of practice, which applies to all public authorities, says universities should monitor proportions of ethnic minorities and take action to promote themselves to under-represented communities – even if it means stepping all over the native population of Britain.

Other ethnic minorities are closer to their proportion of population such as Indian and Pakistani students.

Chinese students are almost 5 times the proportion of their population.

A spokesman for Universities Scotland said he was “delighted” to meet the commission, but did not think there was a huge problem.

He said: “Everywhere in the UK there is under-representation of black African and black Caribbean students. It’s not as obvious in Scotland because we don’t have a high Afro-Caribbean population in Scotland.

A spokesman said: “We should never be complacent and run a number of schemes to attract students from under-represented groups.”

However, he added he did not believe in having a target of 2%, especially since Scotland has a smaller black population.

But he added: “I don’t think anybody should be working towards racial quotas; it’s about recognising whether anything is not good enough. It’s not a numbers game.”

And just to make sure they don’t have a rap on the knuckles from the EHCR, The RSAMD said it now had three black students enrolled on courses.

A spokeswoman said: “We are a small, specialist institution with students from 40 countries. The academy has always encouraged diversity.”

The University of Glasgow has also been busy promoting themselves to black and minority ethnics (BME) and said the situation had improved and 2008/09 figures showed 1.42% of students classified themselves as black.

He added: “The University of Glasgow has a number of initiatives including scholarship schemes for students from sub-Saharan Africa.”

The Glasgow School of Art said its total number of ethnic minority students was now 12% of the student community, but it declined to give the figures for black students alone.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission are determined to search and destroy under representation of ethnic minorities but what about the under representation in further education of the native white working class and the forgotten underclass? Of course that would be racist and we can’t be seen to be looking after our own people in a multi-cultural society can we?

Token Gift From The EU For Unemployed In Highlands And Islands!

March 20, 2009

Thousands of people and 33 employment projects in the highlands and islands will benefit from European funding, the Scottish government has said.

The 5.6 million pounds will be used to help around 7000 people improve their skills or get back to work.

The announcement came as it was confirmed that about 40 fabrication jobs will be created on the western isles.

The isles have a ratio of 44 jobseekers per advertised vacancy.
This money is basically OUR money. The EU simply takes it from you, then gives it back to you saying, it’s from “European funds”.

That’s nice of them!

£- EU membership costs the British taxpayer over £60 billion a year!

£ – Every minute the UK taxpayer sends over £114,000 to Brussels!

£ – That’s over £1,000 a year for every man, woman and child in the UK!

£ – The other main political parties all support this EU madness!

The British National Party say enough is enough. We should get out of the EU now. The £60 billion we would save could be spent on things that really matter – hospitals, policing and better local services.

When the average British family’s costs of living are soaring, it is madness that we are pumping BILLIONS in to the EU and the only thing we see in return is political correct bureaucracy, red tape and token gestures.

Let us all stop this lunacy and vote for the British National Party, the only party that wants to take Britain out of the EU.

First annual meeting and dinner

March 18, 2009

dsc01266 five speakers. First up was northeast organiser Roy Jones who discussed the absurdities of political correctness. He was followed by Glasgow and West organiser Charlie Baillie who gave an interesting history of the Union and the danger of a separatist SNP agenda.
Mr Jim Dowson, the man behind the party’s tremendously successful fundraising campaign, and a native Glaswegian, talked about the reasons behind the growing support for the BNP and of how the party is changing to meet the challenges this poses.
Next speaker was Scottish BNP press officer Alastair Harper, who discussed how to write to the press, illustrating his talk with examples of the successes he had achieved.
The last speaker was BNP Chairman Nick Griffin, who said that it was important that the party be known for more than one issue alone.
“Merchandise sales, a raffle and a collection brought in over £2000 to aid our Euro election campaign,” said Mr Raikes, who was also the meeting chairman.
The meeting was followed by the first of a new series of formal dinners hosted by Scotland BNP, and attended by Mr Griffin.
“The dinner, held to thank the hard-working super activists of Scotland BNP who have put the party back on the map this year, was a black tie event which will become an annual institution,” Mr Raikes said.
“The evening was planned as a thank you to all our officials for their commitment to the cause here in Scotland over the last difficult year,” Mr Raikes said.
“It was with a real sense of pride that I looked around the table at all the people I consider friends as well as comrades enjoying good food, good wine and good conversation. We have come a long way in a year, and in a way have only just begun our long trek. We are all determined to catch up with our English counterparts very soon,” he said.

A Fight For British Jobs!

March 18, 2009

As the recession, aka economic crisis, aka credit crunch, or just the plain old mismanagement of Britain’s economy takes hold. Why are the government not putting in place a common sense approach to immigration?

The government, which is clearly failing the British people, are championing an “amnesty” on immigration. This will mean the large number of illegal immigrants, which is over a million according to government figures, would allow both those illegal immigrants and economic migrants to be allowed to settle here indefinitely.

People of a left-wing persuasion would argue about the human rights of these people and that they should be allowed to stay. However, what about the human rights of the British family and their children? Do we not have a right to be able to find a job in our own country that pays us a decent wage to support our families?

According to a new poll, the majority of the British people believe that if you are a foreign person who is unemployed, then you should not be here, draining the taxpayer’s safety net of benefits. Especially when the government claim that 10 workers are chasing one job.
When in reality it’s more like 10 times that, which clearly dispels the myth that British workers are lazy.

It is right that most of our people are saying this and we fully support them. It is wrong for the likes of Brussels Eurocrats to be saying that Britain should take in foreign workers from the E.U. It was also wrong for the former governments to have allowed this to happen. They have failed the people of Britain on an unimaginable scale.

The immigration “amnesty” doesn’t just “benefit” E.U economic migrants, but will be extended to illegal immigrants from outside the E.U.

Only the British National Party has a common sense approach to immigration. It is clear that we do believe in 2-3% immigration, but not the runaway immigration rates that the successive Conservative and Labour governments have given us.

5 Star Fare At Holyrood – But Not For You!

March 17, 2009

If you ever have the “pleasure” of visiting the Holyrood “Parliament” Building and fancy a bite to eat from the in house 5 Star restaurant, then I’m afraid you’ll have to go elsewhere.
Even though you – the taxpayer – are paying £12.29 for EVERY MEAL eaten there.

Only MSP’s, journalists (obviously to schmooze them) and civil servants are allowed in to eat the culinary delights dining experience such as a duo of smoked salmon and beetroot lax with potato blini, herb cream cheese, capers and spring onions – all at a delicious £1.40!

In 2008, the restaurant only had 7160 diners – 19 a week!

The Holyrood restaurant employs nine staff, including three chefs.
Their wages and overheads came to a whopping £104,000. The fine food costs £30,000. So how much did the restaurant take in? £54,000! This is because the corporate body sets the tariff which covers the cost of food and contributes towards labour. Any shortfall is made up by the parliament i.e. YOU!

The figures add up to a loss of £80,000 on meals at the 70-seat venue – which is not available to the public – last year. Bar staff cost a further £31,000 with another £13,000 spent on alcohol but bar takings were £36,000 – a loss of £8000.

Usually the restaurant industry spends 44 per cent of its turnover on staffing. Holyrood “high living” spends 77 per cent!

Here is a delicious sample of what is on the menu at Chez Holyrood:

The Educational System In Scotland Is Failing Our Children

March 14, 2009

Results published by the “Scottish Government” reveal that Chinese, Indian and mixed-race children do better in exams than white kids!

The results were gathered using a tariff system which allocated points for different levels of qualifications. Standard Grade level 1 = 38 points while Standard Grade level 6 = eight points. The better the qualification, the higher the score.

These statistics were used to compare pupils from different backgrounds, areas and levels of deprivation.

- Children from the least deprived areas had an average score of 227
- Children from a Chinese background had an average score of 220
- Children from an Indian background had an average score of 207
- Children from rural areas had an average score of 194
- Children from a mixed race background had an average score of 191
- Children who described themselves as “white” had an average score of 175
- Children from urban areas had an average score of 168 (possibly due to deprivation)
- Children in the poorest areas had an average score of 121
- Children in care had an average score of 77
- Children who were in care and still in the family home had an average score of 50

9.3% of school leavers from deprived areas failed to achieve a standard grade at foundation level or above.

0.9% of school leavers from the least deprived areas failed to achieve a standard grade at foundation level or above.

Overall 93.7% of school leavers achieved Standard Grade English at either foundation, general or credit level, while 93.5% achieved Standard Grade maths at either foundation, general or credit level.

This is further evidence which shows that the education system is failing white children. No doubt teachers are told to spend more time with children from ethnic backgrounds while leaving our own white children on the sidelines.

Furthermore, if this report was to have stated that white schoolchildren had higher scores, then would it not have been racist?
Would they not strip more taxes from you, the taxpayer, to fund groups for education which would have been solely for Black Minority Ethnics (BME)?

The education system is well known for having its Marxist Leftist agenda. It is time, to not only put British Workers first, but also to start putting British school children first. After all, they are the future workers of this country.

Glasgow and West meeting report

March 13, 2009

glasgow-meet1
Charlie Baillie opened the meeting with a warm welcome to all in attendance, especially those attending for the first time.
Charlie went on to reiterate the values and principles of the British National Party and emphasised that the Party is for indigenous, white, British subjects and that the Party is not racist nor is it anti-catholic, and that the Party endorses Christian values.

An update on activism in various parts of the country was then given and the meeting informed that this is invaluable in raising the profile of the Party. Charlie said that he is confident that member interest is on the increase as a result of this activism and that everyone must be ready to be actively involved at as many events as possible.

A vote of thanks was extended to Max Dunbar for the supply of a new megaphone. This was put to good use at an activism event in Glasgow on Saturday 1st March, despite opposing factions being disruptive the team were able to distribute a large number of leaflets and connected well with the public. Another team also had a very successful day at the same time in terms of leaflet distribution.

Glasgow and West member Ian Wilson reported that he has written to The Chief Constable of Strathclyde Police asking him to clarify the position of police officers having the right to be members of the British National Party, his response, if received, will be made known at a future meeting.

At the interval, Charlie made an appeal for volunteers to commit to assisting with street activism and leaflet distribution. The result of this appeal was tremendous and Charlie thanked all those who submitted their names.
The next round of activities will now be made up of three teams covering seven areas!

The evening finished with member Carrick Crawford giving a short presentation of leaflets he has designed showing new messages and images which drive home the message of the party here in Scotland in a fresh and dynamic way, this generated widespread approval and Carrick was thanked for his time and talent in devising this project.

Donations and paper sales raised a generous amount reflecting the commitment in Glasgow and West to push the party forward!

1 And 2 Tier Migrant Workers Policy will Only Cut Numbers By 3-10%

March 13, 2009

The Government admits that their “new” migrant workers policy will only cut the numbers of applications between 6,000 and 24,000, even though net immigration into Britain is 240,000!

Now migrant workers have to have a Masters degree to work here and that jobs requiring skilled workers would be advertised in Britain first.

But this is only for workers coming from OUTSIDE THE E.U.!

These changes to the points-based system of Tiers 1 and 2 were supposed to ease the row over “British jobs for British workers”.

This was designed to give British workers the first opportunity to get into employment.

However, last week an analysis by the Government discovered that successful applications by migrant workers would only be reduced by between 3-10%.

Phil Woolas, Immigration minister, defended changes to Tiers 1 and 2 in parliament last week. He said: “The PBS is part of a robust system of controls that is designed to prevent illegal migration and to welcome only those migrants that the country needs.”

But many campaign groups, including Migrationwatch, have warned that these rules would have very little impact on the issue of migrant workers taking British jobs.

A UK Border Agency spokesperson added: “The important thing is that numbers start to go down rather than up in a recession, and that we ensure that those migrants who do come either have a high level of skill, and therefore bring the most economic contribution, or have a specific job to come to that no resident worker can fill”.

Yes that sounds all very well and good. However, if you have been watching other news reports, many illegal immigrants are still trying to gain entry to Britain in the back of Lorries from France – with the lorry drivers having to remove the stowaways themselves with no help from the French police!

It seems there is an election brewing and well, let’s just say it’s more smoke and mirrors to fool the voters of this country.

A vote for the British National Party is a vote for British workers to be at the front of the queue!

The cost of ’slopping out’

March 12, 2009

Thanks to the much abused human rights act criminals in Scotland can except a healthy pay out in compensation for slopping out.

A staggering £67million of public money has been set aside to pay prisoners who claimed that slopping out when they were doubled up in cells was a human rights breach.

By the start of this month, 3,737 cases had been settled at a total cost of £11.2million, a further 1,223 cases were being dealt with, and new cases were coming in at the rate of 200 a month.

Truly the lunatics have taken over the asylum!

“Slimer” Says Brits Are Lazy

March 10, 2009

article-0-03c393a4000005dc-562_468x286Lord Mandelson, (aka Slimer), (aka Prince of Darkness), (aka Mandy), Business Secretary, claimed that Brits were either “not available or unwilling” to fill job vacancies and that the influx of migrant workers has caused no “adverse” effect on our jobs market.

Lord Mandelson told MPs: “The nationals coming here from the original eight new accession countries are helping to fill gaps in our labour market our British nationals are either not available to fill or are unwilling to fill.”

He continued to say that there was about half a million vacancies in the UK labour market (what are the rest going to do?), which proved there were still jobs available for Britons. He added: “One can only conclude there has not been an adverse effect on the employment of British nationals.”

What about growing desperation for jobs in recession-hit Britain Mandy?

Mandy divulges his feelings during a Commons committee hearing yesterday into the effect of EU migrants in the British jobs market.

With two million people unemployed (set to rise to three million) and 3.8 million people born overseas are now working in Britain, I will leave it up to you to come up with a conclusion.

And all those new jobs? Well, a recent study by think-tank Migrationwatch found out of 1.34 million new jobs, Brits were employed in 260,000! . Many were taken by the 500,000 eastern Europeans who have arrived since 2004.

Yes, that’s right. 1.08 million foreign workers got those new jobs!

The amount of applicants for jobs shows that people ARE willing to work. For 150 jobs at a zoo in Warwickshire, 3,000 people applied.

Also at a post for a £22,762-a-year emergency call operator in the West Midlands, 600 people applied.

It is very clear when you see the programmes on TV that have those types of jobs WE lazy Brits won’t do. Like for an example, picking butternut squash from a field. This can earn economic migrants upwards of £2000 per month with many of these jobs never appearing in jobcentres. And when they are advertised, it’s usually done either through foreign worker agencies or by the companies employing migrant workers – they are not written in English. Plus in the episode, aired on the BBC, the reporter asked locals “would you be willing to do the job”? The reporter never actually said it was for £2,000 per month, most people think migrants only earn around £2 per hour. They said no without knowing the full details.

A recent report claimed that there were only around 200,000 jobs available in the Europe (with jobs abroad paying as little as 31p per hour), yet we have a rising rate of unemployment as earlier stated – going on for two million! Add this to the not one but TWO E.U. jobcentres that have recently opened in Africa.

These jobcentres are possibly going to attract a further fifty million workers to Europe. One has to ask, where are these jobs coming from? And why are we advertising jobs in Africa when we don’t have any jobs for our own people?

It is only the British National Party that would withdraw from the E.U and give the great workers of Britain the chance of being at the FRONT of the queue.

British Jobs For British Worker – WE MEAN IT!
