As the ‘Scotsman’ said “Coming to a town near you!”
In today’s Scotland on Sunday, there is a big, generally fair, article, which talks about the BNP in Scotland “coming soon to a town near you”.

Well, if you live in Clydebank, Dundee, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Fort William or Aberdeen we came to your town yesterday!
It was Saturday 23 May and BNP activists delivered an astonishing 2,000 leaflets in 4 hours, face-to-face and hand-to-hand, to shoppers all afternoon in the centre of Clydebank.
Our activist stated: “We also had a new activist with us. Again, needless to say, there were no other political parties in sight. The BNP had the whole field! The take-up was unbelievable. We’ve never seen it so good. Everyone was friendly, and in the space of 4 hours, there was only one ‘nutter’ who objected. People were coming up to us, asking for leaflets going ‘Gie us some of them, mate!’ We ran out of leaflets at 5 o’ clock and had to wrap it up – only because we had run out! What a day!”

Sunday also saw our Euro candidates Roy Jones and Gary Raikes campaigning in what was once Winston Churchill’s seat, Dundee.
The publics disgust with the mainstream politicians was evident as the majority of people were happy to see the team and take a leaflet, with a high number promising to vote BNP on June 4th, this prompted one activist to remark ” you better get your passport sorted Gary your off to Brussels!”

While winning a seat would be a dream come true we have to keep our feet on the ground, reports from around Scotland do indeed point to a huge growth in support for the BNP but there is no guarantee that this will turn into votes.
Realistically we want to get over 2.5%, which means we would save our deposit any thing above that will reflect that there has been good solid growth in support and another big step towards the mainstream for BNP Scotland.
Congratulations to BNP Glasgow for their amazing activity. There’s more coming this week, and the next! If you can help in your area, even if it is only putting leaflets or newspapers through doors, please contact us at Scotland@bnp.org.uk
Remember 4th June, Vote BNP – we are on the ballot in all of Scotland.
